Showcasing our 12 Leadership Principles through the corporate messaging and communication.
The Executive Assistant to our CEO reached out to our Social Media team with an idea on ways to showcase our companies 12 Principles through the corporate LinkedIn account. While the original ask from the Executive Assistant was through graphics and text, we decided to up the ante and create engaging videos featuring members of our leadership team. My manager tasked me with planning, scheduling, producing and editing these videos independently. This was a major lift requiring travel to our company headquarters to meet with busy C-suite executives to film these short videos. Some of the leadership team was not familiar with speaking on camera, which made it challenging to help them overcome their nerves and ensure them of what they were saying and encouraging them to really be themselves on camera.
These videos were planned, shot and edited within 10 days ending up being posted 12 days in a row on the corporate LinkedIn account. Internal employee engagement was high as employees located across the country were able to listen to what each leadership principle meant to them. We aim to do something similar around the holidays in 2025.
